Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies. The BLS discipline includes Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED training for lay rescuers.
The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. The PALS discipline also includes the Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS(R)) Course.
